First off, letting everyone know if your looking for the gray face on a set of the T300's your not going to get them, they are black faced. I ordered the T300's to go with my M50's with the gray face. If I knew I was going to get the black I wouldn't have ordered the T300's, but all in all I'm glad I did. The grills match my M50's so that's not a big deal anymore. The sound coming from a bookshelf speaker like the T300's are close to my M50 towers. The woofers of the T300's can put out some good lows. The tweeters are a little bright, but not over powering. I found having the tweeter under the woofer helps with the brightness of the highs and puts the back port on the lower back of the cabinet helps put out lows very nicely. I like the idea of having the wall mount and lower bumpers to keep the speaker away from the walls, but would have been better if Polk didn't have them already mounted to the backs of the cabinets. And yeah, each cabinet has a little weight to them. I wouldn't use a small nail to hold them up. Music, movies, they sound great, they look nice. Even if your looking for a set of small front speakers for your home theater, you could use the T300 all the way around.
For the price, these Polk Audio speakers are great. I bought them to serve as rear channel speakers in a Yamaha 5.1 system. The front speakers are Polk Audio towers and these complement them nicely. Heavier than expected with ported enclosure produces better low end than I could have hoped for. Add free shipping to the mix and this was an excellent deal.
